Who We Are?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

The first Irish Attac chapter was established in 1999. It was relaunched in 2014. Attac Ireland is currently involved in public campaigns to highlight and resist Ireland’s status as a tax haven. We are also collaborating with other groups to halt the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, to lobby for the introduction of a Financial Transaction Tax in Ireland and to freeze the so-called ‘Anglo bonds’.

Attac Ireland believes in equality, environmental sustainability and in the power of grassroots movements to push for change. We stand in solidarity with those struggling for social justice throughout the world.

War on Want
